Hey I am a new drz 400 e owner and I have found a couple of problems.. The bike does not return to idle when the clutch is pulled and the throttle is closed. But once a little clutch pressure is applied the bike will return to idle. Some times when in neutral it will come up to a higher rev point once again not returning to idle until the clutch is slightly released when it's in gear. Also there is boging when coming hard off idle I was told it was jetted before I bought it but other then that it's stock. Any suggestions?

Sounds for sure like its running lean. Anytime the idle hangs high usually means either an air leak or jetted to lean. Also you could try to turn down the idle screw on the side of carb. I would look more toward being jetted on the lean side especially if it bogging.
