Technical Help / 310mm Front Rotor Conversion on S Model
« on: March 20, 2016, 01:13:39 AM »
I have a 2006 Suzuki DRZ400 “S model” I want to swap the original front rotor (disc) for a SM Model 310mm front rotor (disc). I want to use my original front break caliper; I therefore need a caliper adapter plate to make this possible.

Can any one tell me where I can buy this caliper adapter plate to accommodate the 310mm rotor (disc) or does any one have drawings / CAD models for it ???????

“I require a motorcycle that I can ride through Europe on the road, loaded with camping kit, but also ride on the dirt trails from dawn to dusk, I have chosen to ride a Suzuki DRZ400S. It is a simple, basic, no nonsense design that still runs with a carburetor and manual fuel tap (petcock)”

General Discussion / Suzuki DRZ400 QUESTION
« on: December 28, 2015, 11:40:01 AM »
I’m researching some notes for UK magazine article and need some help.

Am I correct in understanding the Suzuki DRZ400 (SM, S & E) were introduced into the American market in 2003

and have basically remained "technically" unchanged for the last 12 years

and are still on sale in the US today 2015 - 16 ?

MANY THANX
